My Favorite Villain - High School Stories

Back in High School I hung out with a wide range of people. I was one of those people who could be friends with just about anyone.
One person I hung out with had a group that she hung out with so in association, I hung out with them from time to time too. At this point I was writing mostly fantasy stuff and reading fantasy works. My friend, Heather, recommended a fantasy author Nancy A. Collins and the book A Dozen Black Roses.
Now if you know this author, you know she writes some pretty detailed stuff. I went from reading YA (and some pretty not YA materials with sex) to two vampires fighting naked in a cage above a crowd and one of them getting their penis yanked off and dropped into the crowd. (She is also the one who introduced me to Blade and Interview with a Vampire. We went and saw Queen of the Damned when it came out...)
So anyway, I LOVED the book... I loved the author. I chatted with her about how awesome the villain was (I'm a sucker for villains) and she told me if she was in a book, that she'd be a villain for sure.
And that's what I did... I wrote a series with this friend group all as different characters, taking photos for character references, and made her the villain.
This became one of my favorite series at the time and she became my favorite villain. Unfortunately I didn't finish the series ever... :( And I am not sure where all of it is. I know I have some stashed somewhere.
The good news though, when I began one of my other series (the one that would become a large part of my writing career) I changed her name and wrote her into the series as a villain. She is, to this day, still my favorite villain, even if in real life she's an awesome person!
