A Dive into Contemporary - High School Stories

When I first started my writing career, I worked on "non-fiction" stories. I then shifted to stories that took place in the real world and had real people. When I found the fantasy part of my life, I dove heavily into fantasy. But there was a time in my high school career that I shifted back to writing contemporary pieces.

Stories about characters who had traumatic histories. Stories of underdogs getting their happily ever after. Many of them were short stories, a couple became novellas.

I enjoyed writing these stories and once I get a few more, I will likely put them all into an anthology. Before then though, I am going to give you a taste of one!
