A Dive into Nonfiction - High School Stories

After my first story my "nonfiction" piece, I left off writing nonfiction for sometime. Then when High School hit I became obsessed with parts of history like the Salem Witch Trails and The Renaissance Period of time. Because of this I returned to nonfiction, briefly, and wrote a few pieces. These pieces were more "based on real event" stories than true nonfiction pieces, though they had a lot of real details in them.

I wrote three of them, and for the life of me... I don't know where they are. Two were based on the Salem Witch Trails, which will then be pulled/used in my first real series which I will discuss at a later date. The other was about the Renaissance Period and a young girl who lived in that period of time.

None of the three were any good and I knew writing them that I likely would not do much with them, which was very true, but it was interesting to write. It was around this time that I wrote an idea for a series called - A moment in time.

The series were based on important moments in time and what happens if that moment shifted to something else. Such as: 'What if Hitler was killed before World War II' 'What if the Titanic never hit that iceberg?' 'What if JFK wasn't shot?' 'What if Lincoln wasn't shot?' 'What if Aaron Burr and Hamilton were friends, not allies?' (though I knew in that one Hamilton would likely still be killed by someone as he had a habit of pushing buttons). 'What if Washington didn't step down?'
