When I was in high school I was really into music. I listened to a wide range of it, from things like boy bands (and no I never did pick a side between Backstreet Boys and NSYNC, I listened to both equally), to rap that I heard when I drive to school with my older brother, to oldies (oldies at the time like Pink Floyd and Queen) that I listened to when I was with my father, to the country songs I'd listen to with my mom, (Jewel, Shania Twain, or Bryan Adams (yes I know he's not country he's pop/rock) ) I was even in band during high school so I was exposed to classical music as well. With my wide range of music exposure I would often find myself wondering how hard it would be to write my own music. So during high school, I started a band with a few of my friends and I wrote my own music for that band. Some of them were pretty decent. and others... not so much. A lot of them were about boys who broke up with me or situations happening in my life. Because of that, many of them were not super upbeat. I wrote 20 songs in total. I kept them in a binder, a handful had a melody to them and a few had a piano beat as well... though not many I didn't play the piano well. I had a handful of them still, I'm not sure where my binder of them all hand written went, but a few got typed up. So next week you'll get a sample of some early songs.
Until then, here is a list of the song titles that I wrote.
