Middle School Stories - Part Four

Welcome to my fourth piece. Ok, so by now I have mastered the craft. I have become skilled in character building and I am writing world class best sellers! Just like everyone else at that age is... right?

No, honestly back then, much like now, I was not a huge fan of my stories. My friends enjoyed them and thought they were great, but I always thought they lacked... well everything. I was always looking for new ways to improve my style, make it more interesting. Anything to get the story to be better.

Back then, very much like I am today, I was character driven. I could make a character and give you a whole backstory for them in a matter of moments. I dreamed about these characters, to me they were all real life people like the friends I saw at school and talked to.

My next story changed things up. It was called The Dark Secret. (oooh scary!)

It was about our main character Diaina (Did I tell you back then that I loved making up names? And also my spelling sucked so...) So this character (who had blonde hair for once) was named after the late Princess Diana. I had heard about her passing, but we talked about her in school that year and so it was something I was interested in at the time.

Diaina was a popular girl who got along with everyone (yeah I go all fiction here folks) when in comes new boys Chad and Alex. (WHAT?! First love triangle!!) Whoever will she get with?!

I'm gonna be honest... I don't remember, but if I had to put money on it, I'd say Alex, just because that was the name going then... LOL. Chad and Alex had a dark secret. (Million dollars if ya all can guess what it was? Need a hint? It rhymes with umpires....)

Yup! They were vampires. Huh, never saw that coming.

Diaina was friends with Cathlen who was a cheerleader and Morgan who was this like punk girl before I knew what punk girls was and she was punk cause she had colored hair and was also secretly a vampire cause (shhh... everyone has secrets in this story).

She went to school with her friends Luke, who has brown hair, and Bill, who also have brown hair (they have secrets too and if you read the last post... you'll remember what brown hair now means...)

You guessed it, they were werewolves! (I was nothing but predictable back then).

They also went to school with Chris, Jack (Named after the poor poor late Jack who got screwed over by Rose, that bitch there was so much room for him on that door), and Jill. Who... I think was a fellow student, but I'm going to be honestly, she may have been one of their moms... (she has that mom look to her).

I don't remember how long this one was, and I can't even remember if I finished this one or not. I do remember it was my first love triangle and I do remember taking polls from my friends to see which one she'd get with in the end. I believe I have some of this one up with my old things (I've been digging through some of my old stuff and you'd be surprised what I've found, keep coming back to the blog to see) but I don't have the whole piece if I do have some of it. (Or maybe I do have the whole thing and what I have is all I wrote of it) LOL.

Did you all notice something? Beside the cute little comments to the pictures cause we were in middle school and we loved these characters and damn it we all had our favorites?

No, something else you might have noticed... Diaina's friend Cathlen has brown hair. WHAT?! Wait, Nevah does that mean she's a werewolf?!

Good question guys let me tell you the answer to it. -- I have no clue. LOL I don't remember if she was secretly a vampire too. I'm going to assume she was because Morgan was Diaina's friend and secretly a vampire so it would make sense that Cathlen was her friend and secretly a werewolf right? But I can't remember for the life of me... so... you decide and leave me a comment, let me know what you think. And if I ever find the whole story, we can solve the mystery!
