Middle School Stories - Part Three

Are we getting sick and tired of the girl falls in love with the vampire story yet? Yeah me too... LOL. It's ok though cause at this time I had just finished Blood and Chocolate and now I had learned werewolves were a thing so guess what comes next? Some werewolf stuff! Oh yeah!!

Story Three - Mixed Love (I was so original with my titles, by the way)

So I have two "novels" under my belt I am so experienced I am set to venture out and write my next big thing! At this time I pick up my first baby name book, so you will see some new names (which you will see again... and again in future books. What can I say, I am predictable). I also start giving my characters some different personalities and styles (you'll notice I play around with colored hair which was because I was going through this phase of wanting my hair colored and had been told no). You will still of course, notice themes between my characters.

My main character has, you guessed it, black hair, though it is short for once... how odd is that? I wonder if it's because I had cut my hair around that time... I might need to go look at old photos of me and find out.

The vampires of the story all have black and red on. (Black because vampires live in the night and red for blood... everyone should have gotten that without me explaining it, it was clearly obvious). If you didn't get that it's ok cause neither did the main character. The werewolves all have brown hair. (Cause wolves... brown... duh and before you tell me that wolves can be colors other than brown I would like to tell you that my teenage self had only read about brown werewolves and though I loved wolves even before werewolves were a thing and I knew there were other color wolves it would be a long time before that came into my stories).

So Mixed Love was about my main character Celeste who is a typical teenage school girl except - plot twist - she's a vampire! Yup! First time my main character isn't human... She meets and falls in love with Alex (that will become a name you see a lot...) He has brown hair (guess what he is) BUT he also wears a red shirt with a black coat (AH WHY WAIT?!) HAHAHA... I know right, don't worry if you don't figure out what happens I will spoil it for you in a second.

So Celeste, meets and falls in love with fellow classmate new kid, Alex who has brown hair and who disappears during the full moon. Somehow my lovely Celeste, the vampire that she is, has no idea that Alex is a werewolf or knows that werewolves are a thing... (Look I just learned about them, why can't the vampires?)

Alex on the other hand must be smarter than the average person cause he knows right away what she is and says they can not be together. Their kind do not like each other.... which.... given none of her family knew werewolves were a thing, I'm not sure how true that statement is, but hey I had a thing for Romeo and Juliet so.... here you go.

The story ended up being about ten pages typed (first one that started off typed) single spaced. (Whatever the normal font was back then cause I was just learning the computer and learning to change font was not my thing). I do believe I have a print copy of this one somewhere laying around.

This one had Celeste and her family Brad who I believe was a brother? Christine and Edge who were twins (my first set of twins) and for those of you who go, hm those names sound familiar.... I was watching WWE with my brothers at this time and they were my favorite. Their sister Jill and Jill's sister Kris.

Then we had our werewolf pack. Alex, Lily, who was the motherly type (You will see the name Lily come up again and often as a motherly type... a version of her will end up in one of my novels for Bound in Blood in Shadows, when we get into more fan art, I'll show you), Lisa, Ryan, bad ass Will (a version of Will shows up in my Bound in Blood in Shadows series though he is no longer a wolf), and their alpha Jorden who does not have brown hair. (But how will we know he's a wolf?!) We don't, that was the big twist of the story... LOL He was Alex's "dad" and Celeste didn't know he was a wolf... look I wasn't very old ok, give me a break.

And for those of you who are curious... it ends with Celeste biting Alex and turning him into a vampire. (Shocker cause... you know black and red). I am not positive I explain if he is a werewolf AND a vampire or if the vampire just... destroys the werewolf? I'll have to reread and try to stay awake to find out for you.
