Writing and Life... and Time

Hello!

I hope you are all doing well! As summer is wrapping up, which seems so fast, and fall is fast approaching I want to update everyone on my life.

First, I have to start out by saying I am not someone who can just sit around and do nothing. My ADHD doesn't allow for me to stop... doing something. LOL. So typically that means my life is fairly busy. But as fall sets in my life has become a little more crazy than normal.

My schedule normally involves my full time job and my part time job, as well as taking my youngest to her extra curricular events (MMA, Girl Scouts, Seasonally the Play).

On top of that for the Fall I have returned to school to work toward my BCaBA. This is a 5 class, 3 semester (little under a year), 2,000 hours of supervision course. Which ends next summer in my hopefully taking my BCaBA exam. (If all goes as planned). In the long run this is a huge step in my career and will be extremely helpful to my life. As of now though... I am starting my first two classes and wondering why I decided I needed to add this to my life...

Also in the fall my daughter is involved in the local community theater group, and I volunteer backstage on set. Which means most Sundays (and every evening during tech week, and a full weekend during the show) I am busy working with the amazing group to get this play going. (They also do one in the Spring from end of Feb till May).

I am also working on some new materials for my events (which I have several on the books, check back in future blogs for those!). And doing some formatting for a fellow author on his short story collection and poetry collection.

For my part time job (which is typically just on Saturdays) I am working on scheduling several classes that I'll be teaching some on Saturdays during my typical working hours, or right after, and some during the week.

On top of all of this I do at some point... need to eat, sleep, shower, do laundry, etc.

So as it is, I'm fairly thin stretched. BUT with that said, I have been getting the urge to write more! (Which is typically what happens when I no longer have the free time I did to do it.) And have built in some time to work on Theirs and Where Will You Go again. It will be a slow process and unfortunately I don't see either being done in time to publish this year as I planned. I am also working on a special edition flip book for Double-Edged War though, which might still be available soon!

I will continue to keep up on weekly blogs, so you can stay informed! Also check back often as I am working on a shop for the site so you can purchase signed copies of the books, as well as some new items!

Stay busy fans - though maybe not as busy as me - and happy reading in whatever you find yourself reading this fall!
