So I am always looking for a new book to read and enjoy and often I am sharing my favorites to my friends. Well a few years back my friend, Ravyn, said I had to read a book called, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I read the back and was like, "Mm... sounds like it might be ok."
Yeah... that was a lie. This book was AMAZING. One of the best books I've read in sometime. The characters are really well written, they have stories you become invested in. You find yourself cheering for the "good guys"? Let's be honest... none of them are like the white knight heroes here.
The story keeps you pulled in and has even some twists that you don't see coming. There are, of course, the typical tropes you'd find in a book like this, but it's not ever something that slows down the read.
After reading this one... I began to read more... and more... and more... and I started collecting, to the point my husband has asked if I really need 8 copies of the book. (I mean... yes? Duh... they aren't the same book... the covers are all different). With the release of the newest cover (which looks awesome and yes I am adding to my shelf). A new group of people can pick up this book and get to know and love these characters as I did.

And if you watched the series on Netflix, Shadow and Bone, which is the series set in the same world as Six of Crows WITH Six of Crows characters... you'll get to enjoy some action there as well. The first season was amazing, even with the changes they made. The second season was... well... they made a few mistakes, but the characters still made it look like a great time!
Have you read this book/series yet? If so who was your favorite character? What was your favorite part? Let me know in the comments below!

I am biased, as the one who made you read this, but it was soooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooood
