Secrets of Darkness - High School Stories

With the birth of Ace became the start of the world he lived in. Which then became the start of my first three novel series: Secrets of Darkness.

The series consisted of three novels and a bunch of spin offs (and a possible prequal at some point).

The first in the series originally was Ahunyest and the Secrets it Holds - a novel about twin brothers, Chase and Kerry, and their differences with each other and the need to be what people expect of you and the desire to be your own person. It took place in the secret kingdom of Kantona with a dying race of Ahunyest people. (Wanna know the pronouncation for that word? Yeah... it's not how it's supposed to be...)

Ahunyest - pronounced: Anna-heist (Told you it was not at all what you'd think)

The second in the series originally was Where Will You Go - Ace's story, which was about Ace, a 15 year old who has forgotten everything except the last two years with a man named Kadin and working as a slayer, but as his memories return to him and he digs into his past, things become a lot clearer as to what's going on.

Where Will You Go and Ahunyest and the Secrets it Holds took place in the same world, at the same time, in different locations. So they could be read in either order. I have grown more attached to Ace, and because of that... his story is now going to end up being book one.

The last in the series is called Eyes of the Caged. Which takes place in another part of the world, in a kingdom called Freedom's Keep. It follows a little girl, Andawyne and a wolf shifter, Skye. This story is about finding your place, about freedom and about belonging.

The series has taken a slight back burner as I work on other things, but I have finally gotten back into it and I'm now working on Where Will You Go, hopefully out by next year. After, I'll begin rewriting Ahunyest and the Secrets it Holds.
