Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July! For my American readers this is a day of American independence and freedom. If you are familiar with the series though, you'd be aware that independence and freedom aren't always available. Because of this in the series Ruins of War. Fourth of July isn't celebrated the same as it is today. Even in the human states.

Fireworks cost more than most can afford. The other states owned by the supernaturals celebrate their own holidays of freedom and independence. Some of the older generations of humans, and even a lot of the vampires, remember when July Fourth was celebrated with fireworks, BBQs, and the American Flag.

No matter how you celebrate the fourth of July remember to be safe and have a great time!
