Early Works - Song Sample

As mentioned in the last blog, I ventured into song writing when I was in high school. There were several that I liked and some that looking back were not the best. I'm going to share with you two of them and you can let me know what you think.

Song One -

Don't Know What Love Means

Verse One: When I heard you speak, listened to your voice. I fell in love, I didn't know what was to come. I loved you more than I would say And I thought you loved me too, and now I see I don't know what it means.

Chorus: I thought I knew love. I thought we had a chance. I thought I could make it work, pull us through it all. I would look into your heart, and I thought I saw love there, but not I see I don't know what love means.

Verse Two: We had something going on, I knew it from the start. Knowing this would last forever, that we would never part. You came into my world, you made my life complete. You turned my world around. I thought you loved me. And

Verse Three: Then our world is turned around, you go and break my heart. Playing with my mind it takes an eternity of pain, to get rid of the promises we made. Tell me now and tell me true is it really over, are we really through.
