Meet the World - Sidrea

On September 2, 2027 Senator Therner poses a way to save the United States from financial ruin (sorry guys, we wrote this back in 2014... and... are aware this hits close to home now). And on December 1, 2029 his plan goes into effect. The United States posts the state of Alaska up for sale. On March 10, 2030 Alaska is sold to Canada and becomes Canadian property.

Then the state of Hawaii goes up for sale and on September 8, 2032 Japan purchases it.

On December 5, 2033 the state of Oregon goes up for sale. During the sale period - Washington and California referendums and secedes from the United States.

Finally, after a long back and forth battle, Oregon sold to the vampiric species. As you can imagine this was HUGE news. Not only were vampires real, they now owned their own land.

On December 28, 2035 - Oregon was renamed Sidrea.

Sidrea is run by King Raheem. A well known name among the vampiric species. The throne is about to be passed down to his oldest and only son, Prince Aldis. It was Aldis who wanted to start the co-existence project. (Which is what happens in Double-Edged War).

King Raheem also has two daughters, Princess Engla and Princess Macyn. They live in the palace, which is a renovated fancy hotel.
