Early Works - Fantasy Sample

So the early piece I'm going to show you is one that likely won't become part of this character's story, but is, indeed, a character that later became part of the bigger world.

So - here is a short sample of one of my early fantasy worlds.

Sample:

"What are you doing here?" His voice was soothing, it drew me in.

I wanted to answer him, had to answer him. "Hiding from the storm." My voice wavered. I tried not to show the fear I was feeling.

"You can not hide from me, kitten." He put an arm around my waist and pulled me forward. His body pressed against mine. "I am everywhere, kitten." He gently ran his fingers lightly over my cheek. "You can not get away from me." He leaned in and softly kissed my lips.

"I know you..." I whispered. "But you aren't the same."

"No kitten, I am the same losing you..." he kissed me again, "Made me realize that I don't want to lose this."
